  2. Consistent. A consistent power source means that the power of the tool will be consistent. This means that the tool will always be able to perform with 100% effectiveness. This is a major drawback of cordless models, which often start to lose power and consistency, making them less effective.
  3. Capacity. A dedicated power source allows the right corded power tool to handle more tedious jobs, while cordless models may not be effective because of the loss in power.
